You can clearly see that are certain types of oranges that can only be harvested for a month. While it's possible to grow oranges and buy them all year round, it's likely that you're not experiencing their peak flavor if you haven't purchased them during their season. You can see that there is no mention of fruits being available in September, which might mean you need to choose a different fruit that month. One of the most well known oranges in Florida is the Navel orange. This juicy, seedless, tasty orange is in season during Nov-January. The navel orange varies from large-extra large sized fruit with a deep yellow to orange color peel. It's also one of the more "forgiving" oranges as it peels and sections apart very easily.
